WordPress.com – Code Installation Instructions

Javascript is not allowed with WordPress.com so it is not possible to record information such as the page title or referring link information. We would strongly suggest you switch to another web editor that will give you greater control. Example : StatCounter Code.

1. copy the StatCounter code (highlight + ctrl c)
2. log onto http://wordpress.com/ and enter your username and password
3. click “My Dashboard” in the top navigation bar
4. click “Presentation” in the top navigation bar
5. click “Widgets” in the second-level top navigation area
6. drag “Text 1″ from the “Available Widgets” to the “Sidebar” (if Text 1 is used; Text 2, 3, 4 … works too!)
7. click the “Text 1″ icon and enter “StatCounter” as the title
8. Paste the copied code into the main text area
9. Close the box by clicking the ‘x’ button
10. Click “Save Changes”
